Timeframe: Available through December 2025
The Home Stabilization Program is an essential effeort to help long-term residents stay in their homes. Designed to support those making 80% of the area’s median income or less, the program provides grants and technical expertise for essential home repairs.
Home Repairs May Include:
Plumbing
Electrical Work
Roofing
Structural Improvements
Eligibility Requirements
Recipients must own and reside in the property being serviced
The property must be located in Seattle
Recipients must meet income and documentation requirements
The Home Stabilization Program is offered in partnership with Rebuilding Together Seattle, and is funded by the City of Seattle Office of Housing.

Timeframe: Available through June 2026
The Blended Capital Loan Program is a community-focused effort that provides forgivable loans to eligible homeowners to support critical home repairs, safety improvements, and construction of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs). At its core, this program is about preserving community, not just building structures. By helping families remain in their homes and equipping them to build wealth, we are investing in the long-term health and stability of our neighborhoods.
Eligibility Requirements
Recipients must own and reside in the property being serviced
The property must be located within King County
For ADUs, homeowners must be willing to rent to tenants at affordable rates
Recipients must meet income and documentation requirements
How It Works (Loan Terms Summary)
Must be an owner-occupied residential property
Use of funds must align with the approved Scope of Work & Budget
A 10-year Deed of Trust will be placed on the property to ensure compliance
Forgiveness requires:
Proof of completed project
Owner occupancy for 10 years
Renting unit at HUD-defined affordable rates (ADU)
